Trips and photos.

As I wrote on my profile I love photography, it's a way to keep my memories and share with my friends the beautifull places I visited.
I am realy lucky to work on something that moves, sometimes is dificult to stay away from home, away from my daughter, my family and my friends, but now I feel this is my destiny, is the way I want to live.

Rio de Janeiro my home town.

A beautifull view of Rio, the Christ and Guanabara bay.

This is Paraty, a fantastic place between Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

Personal Statement:
Learning to sail in a variety of dinghies in Rio de Janeiro (1970) I quickly moved to Laser class until the “1977 Laser Class World Championship” in Cabo Frio-RJ, when I decided to dedicate my time to bigger boats such as the IOR Ocean Racers.
I have been in many important races like the one from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro in 1979.
After that I became a crewman on many racers like the Farr 38 EXTRA HA and Swan 37’ EOLO.
In 1982 I built my own boat “Bom Demais”, a 20’ racer, which gave me the 2nd place on Angra dos Reis Ocean Racers Championship 1985 and the 1st on the 1986 event after many good results.
After 1995 I became a professional captain working on charters and deliveries (power and sailboats).
In 2003 after the delivery of the 24 meters M/Y Meditation from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro I was hired to be the captain of this yacht. After a few months 2 other boats joined this fleet then I became manager of those 3 boats until dec/2007.
2008 was a busy year when I had many courses, STCW95, Masterof Yachts 200 ton. Offshore.
I also had a great experience working on many yachts in Fort Lauderdale and Miami, and a summer season on the Med., France, Monaco and Italy.
2009 was also busy, 13000 nautical miles on MY Lady Genyr from Santos (Brasil) to Europe.
After 39 years in the yachting industry I can do a very responsible job on any boat.
